Guard the fixes that were shipped unguarded

A peer re-review of 7f5218e7 reverted each of its four fixes alone and found all four still green. They were right, and the same check now turns each of them red.

It also found the half I missed: reportNativeMirrorNotes still named the primary through placementCluster, which has no record fallback, so a failed repo whose cluster the catalog cannot name said us-east on stderr under a table saying aws-us-east-2.entire.io — the identical two-names-for-one-cluster split 7f5218e7 fixed in the row, one line over. The notes now read the names off the built row, so there is nothing left to re-derive differently.

styleTableWith had no production caller once repo list stopped using it; it and its tests go, with the lipgloss import go vet caught. repo.go's comment still pointed at preStyleTable, deleted in 90d42101.
