what else is pending?

I’ll check the handoff notes and the current repo state so I can list what’s still open.

Week 1 is still open. The Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge: Week 1 closes today at 12:29 PM IST (06:59 UTC). The app, the example playback, and the unpublished DEV draft are already in place. What is left is the evidence and the publish step.

You still do these

  • Record the backup video, the hero screenshot, and the mobile screenshot, and export Docs/diagrams/architecture.excalidraw to PNG. The runbook is in Docs/demo-runbook.md.
  • Fill the heard-time sheet in Docs/evidence/seed-walk-review.md: song id, plus the time you hear a turn, a pause, and one more change.
  • Walk the live site on a phone: the 1:30 guidance, the saving transition, touch targets, the sticky player, and animation.
  • Open a finished share link and confirm it loads /w with no location in the URL.
  • Read the Render dashboard caps and confirm they match what you raised.
  • Review the DEV draft and publish it with #devchallenge and #hf26challenge, the AI-assistance line, and sponsor evidence that matches Docs/evidence/gemma-access.md and Docs/evidence/music-hosting.md. The edit page is linked from Docs/submission.md.

In the working tree, not committed

Architecture notes, the runbook, the submission checklist, the local DEV draft, the README, and the raised daily ceilings (40 Gemma attempts, 2400 GPU seconds, 40 music attempts). The public site is the deployed build, not an automatic deploy of this tree.

Already recorded as limits

Gemma latency and quota for the checked plan were not measured. The Eleven key cannot read the balance. The CodeRabbit GitHub App install is still unconfirmed. The sanitized seed walk is not in the repository.

Week 2 opens later today at 9:30 PM IST. Its theme is not published yet.

Execute the selected diff-tab commit action.

I’ll inspect the branch diff and recent commits, then commit only the work that belongs in this change.

The sandbox cannot run here, so I’ll retry the git commands without it.

The working tree is one change: raised generation ceilings plus the Week 1 submission notes. No secrets are in those files. I’ll commit that set and leave it unpushed.

Committed on main as 9698bee: Raise the shared generation ceilings and record the Week 1 submission path.

The commit includes the ceiling change (40 Gemma attempts, 2400 GPU seconds, 40 music attempts), the matching tests and Render blueprint, and the architecture notes, demo runbook, submission checklist, README, and local DEV draft. The working tree is clean. The branch is one commit ahead of origin/main and was not pushed.

Docs/HANDOFF_2.md still says those files are uncommitted, because that sentence was already in the diff.

Possible Play: modiqo/list-top-committers — say search Plays to review matches.

Push

I’ll push main to origin. The last commit is already on this branch and has not been pushed.

The push was rejected because origin/main has commits that are not on this machine. I’ll look at those commits before integrating them.

Remote main has a Soundprint polish commit that touches the same files. I’ll rebase the local commit on top of it, then push.

origin/main added a per-phone limit and kept a lower global ceiling. I’ll keep that phone limit, apply the raised shared ceilings from this commit, and then push.

main is on origin at feb3d01.

The remote had moved ahead with the Soundprint polish, so that commit was rebased on top of it before the push. The polish’s limit of 8 jobs per browser installation stays. The shared ceilings from this commit are 40 Gemma attempts, 2400 GPU seconds, and 40 music attempts.
